SUO Challenge #44 – Mothers Day Card

This is my first EVER challenge that I have entered on a blog.  I love SU-Only’s blog and I am always going over there and checking it out.  So I finally got the nerve to enter their challenge.  The challenge was to make a Mothers Day card.

Here is my card:

I used Whisper White cardstock for the base cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″.  Layered a piece of Daffodil Delight, cut at 5 1/4″ x 4″, and then a piece of Summer Smooches paper cut at 5″ x 3 3/4″.  I used the Labels Framelits to make the little design with the sentiment on it. (see future tutorial on that)… and I used Blessings From Heaven stamp set for the sentiment.  And of course my fav Whisper White Organza Ribbon for the ribbon wrapped around.  The flower I made using the Fancy Flower punch, you can view the tutorial on how to make the flower HERE

It was fun to do this challenge.  I think I will have to do more 🙂
