Today I celebrate my 8th wedding anniversary with my hubby. He is truly my better half. We complete each other in so many ways. I am madly in love with him. No one on the planet can make me feel intense love and passion, and anger in the same week like he can. HAHA! He’s the best thing that ever happened to me. He brought me my precious little girl and he made me believe in true love. The kind of love that doesn’t give up, that is real, and true. It’s no fairy tale like the movies, it’s so much better. I pray that we are always this in love and this happy, and I pray that if there is a moment in time that we aren’t God will fix us. (I’m not sayin’ we don’t have our days..but 98% of them are good, the other 2% aren’t worth giving weight to)
I thought I would share a wedding photo and a couple of our honeymoon photos. I am so excited that we get to go back to Hawaii next year with our little girl. I earned the Grand Vacation with Stampin’ UP! and we were thrilled it was a Hawaiian vacation. I cannot wait. It will be like a second honeymoon but better because we can share it with our baby.
That white parrot on Kevin’s shoulder pecked the little knobby thing on the top of his hat off and one of the parrots crapped on my foot. It was super funny. We were under attack.
Happy Anniversary Baby…. Here is to MANY MANY more years to come.

The list of people in my life to be thankful for is insanely long. HAHA! In my Stampin’ UP! business I’ve always said I am so thankful for my customers and downline… but I leave out some important people. I am also thankful for my sidelines… these are people that may not be on my team but that work with me to help our businesses thrive. We share ideas and work together as though we are team members. In the grand scheme of things we really are, at least we are if we want Stampin’ UP! to survive.
As you know I am part of the Creative Challenge Club… Here are some goodies that I made up for the other Design Team members using some of the new 2014 Holiday Catalog goodies.
My Paper Pumpkin people. I am so thankful for them. I have not done them justice. Here are some goodies I recently made up to send them this month. I know they will enjoy having this box for their stamp sets that come in their Paper Pumpkin boxes each month. If you’d like in on these goodies you can sign up for Paper Pumpkin with me by clicking HERE. It’s only $19.95 a month, includes shipping (tax is still added).
My team members. I am so thankful for my team members. These are the folks that have decided to join me on this crazy silly sometimes insane adventure of Stampin’ UP!. Some of them hobbyist and some business builders, but all I consider friends. I am extremely grateful for them. Each month I send the top 10 in sales a card or goodie. This month I included an extra special treat CANDY. Fourth through Tenth place received one of my Frog or Fox cards and the top three received free product. If you want to be part of our community purchasing the starter kit is your ticket in. Don’t be fooled! About 5 of the people in the top 10 are hobby demonstrators, not everyone is out there doing classes and workshops or running a blog. You can join us too…. You can click HERE to join.
Have you ever heard of Dave Ramsey? No. Well he’s so cool. He is a financial guru and believes in living debt fee and on a real budget. My husband and I really enjoy his teachings. We have not always followed them, because um, we are human. LOL. But we try. Recently I’ve wanted to get back into the habit of some of his ideas. One of his ideas is having envelopes (Dave’s Envelope System) that are marked with Food, Gas, Household Items, Clothes. You put your money in those envelopes each month and then you use that money through the month. When the money is gone it’s gone. This way you aren’t using your debit card for stuff. You apparently spend more when you do that.
I wanted cute envelopes for a our money. So I made these up. Then I thought maybe you’d want a kit. So I am selling kits including the Project Life by Stampin’ UP! pen. You can get the kit for $7 including shipping.
ORDER YOUR KIT HERE.

Every year my sister in law and I make up this same old wagon with a new fair theme for our girls. We love them to walk in the parade that kicks off the fair. We’ve done this every year since they were little. It’s a great tradition. This year’s theme was “There’s No Place Like Home” from Wizard of Oz. It was so fun.
Here are the girls all ready to go with their cool wagon. The house actually spun around to look like it was in a tornado 🙂
My sweet little niece Makayla getting her face painted. This is another tradition. They love to get their faces painted.
OH THE HEAT! It was so stinking hot. I love this picture. They were all eating corn dogs and drinking water.
Who doesn’t love a piggy!? It was really fun to watch the girls pet the pigs and rub their snouts.
Dinner at Grandma’s. This is Macie with her Uncle Phil. They really love each other. He’s such a sweet guy.
SO this happened the weekend of the fair! We had a crazy wild fire. You can google Sand Fire in Plymouth and get all the details. We still have left over smoke. Our house is stinky and so are our cars.
Destruction Derby night. I love love love this photo. This is me, the hubby and our friends, Bert, Laura and the cheesy teeth pic is my brother in law photo bombing us.
Last but not least this is me and my sis in law. She’s the best. I got very blessed to have such amazing in laws. I love them so much. My sis in law helps me with my business and I could not ask for a better person to help me. She is so amazing, efficient, creative and really has my best interest at heart. Plus I think she’s trying to get her brother (my hubs) kicked out of the seat for the Grand Vacation next year. She really would love to go to Italy, France and Spain. Who wouldn’t? LOL
Last year so many of you sent birthday cards to my sweet Grandpa. Well it’s been a whole year. He’s now 91. Not much has changed in Gramps life except for Grandma. She’s been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and now Grandpa spends his days caring for her. This man is truly one of the most inspiring, loving, dedicated, genuine individuals I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I took him and Grandma out yesterday for a lunch date to celebrate his 91st year on this earth. Here are some photos of our day together. Below is my story of my Grandpa.
This was Grandpa’s fortune. He cracked up when he opened it. I had not seen him laugh that hard in a long time. It was the best part of my day.
We took a short drive up country to see where my hubby was working. Kevin took the time to escort us in the coned area and explain to Grandpa all the stuff he was doing that day with the equipment. Was very nice.
I have a very special bond with my Grandpa, also known as Papa, and Gramps. Depends on my mood as to what I call him. But he almost ALWAYS calls me “Winnie the Pooh” Anyway, the bond. It started way back. I was his first grandchild. This makes me special special. This means I got two full years with him just by myself. I don’t remember those two years. However, I see how he is my sweet girl and all the other great grand babies that surround him and I know I spent hours in his arms, being rocked and being sung to.
Of course over time your memory becomes your friend. I can reach way back into those memory banks and remember being tickled, chased, told bedtime stories, told scary stories, being taught how to fish with a bamboo pole, how to listen for birds, how to look at the stars and especially and most importantly being taught how to love. When I was 7 my Mom and Dad got divorced. My Dad pretty much went MIA. This left me broken. Sometimes now I think if my Grandpa hadn’t been there I wouldn’t have made it. I would’ve been a shell of who I was supposed to be. My Grandpa was my Daddy. He did all the things with me and for me that normally a Dad would do. And he still does. I spent everyday after school with my Grandparents and all summer every summer. My Mom worked and so this meant my sis and I were left to be watched by our Grandparents. For any other kid this may seem a drag. Not me. I cherished both of my Grandparents so much. I still do. I love to hear their stories and listen to them talk and tell me what I should be doing. There is a warmth that radiates from my Grandpa’s heart. It’s a warmth that is unexplainable. With him is the only place in the physical world I know that no matter what I do, and under any circumstance he will love me. That is a rare find. The bible says that God will be a Father to the Fatherless. I believe that God chooses very special people to tend to his lost, forgotten or abandon lambs. I believe my Grandpa is one of those people. I believe that he was put on this earth to be a Father to not just me, but my sis, my cousin, and so many other children that have looked up to him and respected him. His mark on this earth is a great one.
Well I got all sappy today. But sometimes sap is a good thing 🙂 I had to share all of that with you! Now you know why I love him SO SO much and why I love spending time with him and my Grandma.

My family really enjoys camping. For Father’s Day weekend we went camping at Union Valley with two of our dearest friends Laura and Zlatan. This has turned into an annual camping trip for us in June. I took some fun photos.
However, NOTHING beats the video I took. My friend Laura has a phobia of frogs. Well if you follow my blog you know my daughter LOVES frogs. With my husbands help Laura decided to try and conquer her fear. HAHAHA! I would not suggest watching this video if you need to go to the restroom.
