Freebie Friday #33 Founders Circle Fun

I haven’t done a Mojo Monday sketch in a couple of years.  I always enjoy their sketches.  So here is the #mojomonday363 sketch for you.  I really love how it turned out.  Watch the video below to see how I created the pom pom.

Last weeks Freebie Friday winner is: Debby Shelton.  You won $45 in free product of your choice.  Please send me an email at wendy.cranford@live.com.

Here is the video on how to create the pom pom.   This week I am giving away pieces from one of the simply created Holiday Kits 🙂

As always here is my product supply list.  No tips and tricks listed today because let’s face it, this blog post is long enough LOL.

Ok as promised here are some more amazing photos from Founders Circle 2014.  I am having a blast.  Learning a lot and getting really use to this kind of treatment LOL.

Here we go.  How cute are these samples.  You can see some sneak peek goodies from the 2015 Occasions Catalog here on the board.

Sandy Hancock, caught RED HANDED… using NON Stampin’ UP! adhesive.  Shame Shame!

More food.  I lost 10lbs before this trip.  I think I have managed to gain it all back by the second day here.  GEESH!

Went shopping here in St George and saw this in Pier One Imports and thought, Yes Yes I am on Sunshine.  I wanted to buy it but it wouldn’t have fit in my suitcase 🙂

Went to Ross.  Saw this.  Bought this.  Because my Mom says…. You’ve been independent since you were born 🙂

Was leaving the gathering place and saw this… HELLO ADORABLE!  I will be making this for sure.

ANOTHER gift.  They shower us with gifts!  It’s fabulous!

I hope you are all enjoying my photos.  I am having so much fun sharing my trip with you all.

Founders Circle Travel and Arrival

Hey Everyone,
Today I want to share some fun pictures with you from my first day at Founders Circle.  What an amazing adventure this is turning out to be.

The flight was great.  No problems at all.  Katina traveled with me, she earned Founders Circle also.  It is pretty exciting to have one of my downline on this trip with me.

Here we arrived at the Las Vegas airport.  There was a fella holding a Stampin’ UP! sign for us.  I was feeling pretty special.  I’ve never had anyone hold a sign at an airport for me 🙂

Passing through Las Vegas.  I had to take a shot of the casinos.  I’ve never been to Las Vegas so it was pretty cool to see all the gigantic buildings as we went through.

The view as we got closer to St George was gorgeous.  I’ve never been to Arizona or Southern Utah, so all the red rock and stuff was a totally new experience for me.  It was gorgeous.  The picture does not do it justice.

When we arrived at the hotel this was hanging out front.  A small taste of what was to come.

Here is inside the Holiday Lodge as they are calling it.  The whole theme of this years Founders Circle is “Home for the Holidays” which I LOVE.  I love the holidays and specifically Christmas.  So I loved this feel and look.  You can see more of the decorations below.  I think I might have to try some of this stuff for Christmas decor this year.

FINALLY, my room.  Isn’t it pretty?  I don’t know what I am going to do for 4 nights all by myself, but I am thinking movies and popcorn are on the list 🙂

This is the view from my balcony.

After a quick rest in the room it was time for dinner.  YES, formal dining.  Can you believe it?  Talk about pampered.  The table settings were gorgeous.  We were served our meals and it was so yummy as you can see below 🙂

Shelli Gardner, CEO of Stampin’ UP! gave a welcome speech.  It was so awesome.

After dinner we came back to our rooms and there was another pillow gift on our beds.  It had beautiful goodies in it that I can’t show you yet 😉  But let me say they are so FUN!

Thanks for coming by.  Come back tomorrow for Freebie Friday and more photos!

Wowza Wednesday #5 Founders Circle Swap Cards

Welp here they are.  These are my 2014 Founders Circle Swaps.  I really think they turned out great.  I absolutely love the Holiday Home stamp set and Framelits.  They are adorable.  I’ve seen so many cute things done with this stamp set.  I am really hoping to do a few of them in the coming weeks.

I will be traveling to Founders Circle today! YAY!  I am so excited.  This is the second year I have earned this achievement but was unable to attend the retreat last year.  It feels like my first time earning in a way.  I will be keeping you posted on how it’s going this week 🙂

Here is my video.

Tips & Tricks

  • Sponging:  I don’t show it in the video but using a sponge in a swirling motion is a great way to add texture and color to white card stock. Or even color card stock.  You just dip the sponge directly into your ink pad and then use a swirling motion over your card stock.
  • Gold Encore Ink:  I would suggest using your heat tool on the Gold Encore Ink and the Silver for that matter.  They don’t set up very well on their own and need a little help.
  • Make a Scene:  No, don’t throw a fit. I mean, make a scene with our cards.  sometimes when I am creating a card I am not always trying to convey something visual, sometimes I am trying to convey a feeling.  That is what I was trying to do with this card.  You know at the beginning of fall when it is still warm out, but not hot, and the leaves have fallen and the world seems still and quiet in the mornings and the air is crisp.  I love that time of year.  I tried to make this card feel like that time of year.  Sometimes when you are creating close your eyes and think about how something feels and then try to convey that through your work.  It’s fun to do.  Takes some practice but you’ll get there.

Here is my list of supplies.  Click on any of the images below to order in my online store.

Founders Circle Swap 2013 & Happy Anniversary

Don’t forget to use hostess code: CB3KNNQR when placing an online order in September to be entered to win free hostess products.  The more orders I get the more hostess benefits I have to give away 🙂

I wanted to share my Founders Circle Swap.  You may remember this card for a while back.  I made a few changes to it and this was the card I did for Founders Circle.

Very quickly I realized stamping all of these cups 4 times was not going to happen.  I had to find a way to do the middle part of the cup without having to stamp it again and cut it out.  SO my downline and friend Lori had a brilliant idea.  She said, Carve a stamp that is the middle size.  Then you can just stamp it! YAHOOOO…. She’s so smart!

So that’s what I did.

ALSO – I cannot do a post today without mentioning, that I have been married to my gorgeous husband for 7 years today.  He is amazing, he works so hard, loves us so much, and gives his best everyday to be the best man he can be.  While we’ve had our tough times it only seems that our marriage is getting better with time.  We are stronger together than we are apart, we are better together.  He balances me out and he is my rock.  To say the least my love, you make me Happy Happy Happy.
This was a gift I gave him earlier this month.  His other gift hasn’t arrived yet.  I got him a new camo jacket for hunting this year. :0)
