So sweet is exactly what this card is. I started out with this card as a Valentine Card. HOWEVER, after finishing it I really think you could use this card for any event. I saw that beautiful washi tape sitting on my craft counter and it was calling my name. Melon Mambo, Black and White all go together so nicely.
Here is a video to show you how I got the ink splatters on this card and the rest of the card assembly. Next time you make a card try adding ink splatter. It’s so fun.
Hey Crafty Friends,
You know I openly admit that I am a blonde. WELL I totally had a “blonde moment”. I offered up blog candy January 1st and forgot to draw. No excuses…. I just blame my constantly crazy and busy life.
AT ANY RATE – I REMEMBERED. To right my wrong I used random.org to select a winner and Rene won.
Her comment: “Happy New Year! I watch your You Tube videos all the time. Thanks for all the inspiration and for the chance to win some candy!
Valentine Treat Bags – Last Chance to get them.
They will be gone January 27th!
This is one of my most favorite cards I’ve made in a long time. I had such a good time making it. I used the Valentines Treat Bags to make the front of the card. **you can only get the Valentine Treat Bags until Jan 27th**
I also used one of the new photopolymer stamp sets called Countless Sayings Part 1.
These Valentine Treat Bags are only around until Jan 27th! Get them while you can. They are SO SO cute! I just love them. You can get them in my online store. 12 of them come in a pack for only $4.95, great deal. Just 3 packs would make enough for most class rooms.
I used this to make some of the samples.
